broken_in_repair@yahoo.com BioCho only played a minimal part in the war, working behind the scenes by gathering information and keeping track of Voldemort’s army’s movements. She worked tirelessly for the cause, but was still looked down on by those who chose to take a more active role in the war effort and who felt that perhaps they had given more. Cho saw that snobbery as a signal that her effort had been a useless contribution. She left for the Muggle world, thinking she shouldn’t enjoy the victory that had been gained.
Cho has developed a fondness for doomed romances, however unconsciously. The trend began with Cedric Diggory and ended just recently with her Muggle fiancé, a doctor named Jeremy, who was killed in a car accident. Cho’s sworn off falling in love as a result.
However, there’s a stigma attached to unmarried women in the Muggle world, particularly unmarried women at the age of 31. Cho’s learned that the hard way, while dealing with the pitying looks from her companions after her fiancé’s death. Tired of the endless offers to be set up with by her friends, and wanting to escape the memories she’s built in the Muggle world, Cho’s returned to Hogwarts. Returning to Hogwarts is like coming home for her. It’s not that she’s trying to start over; she just wants to get away.
She’s taken a teaching position in the school, she will be instructing students in Muggle Studies, a subject she’s grown rather proficient in during her time away.
Cho is 5’4” tall, and very slender. Her hair is still very black, which makes her appear somewhat younger than her age. She’s taken to dressing very simply and in the Muggle styles, which has earned her a few raised eyebrows from the Hogwarts populace. She’s quieter now, and still very aware of and careful with the emotions of those around her. A very good listener and somewhat of a loner, Cho has managed to gain the admiration of her students and the respect of a few of her fellow teachers, even if they don’t understand her interest in Muggle society.
